Fyrebrick  Airedales

Our Foundation.....'Arby'

Canadian Ch Fairewood Arbutus Tiger CDX has both her Can. and American CD and Am. CDX, so titled at both ends! Here she is at nine months winning 'Best Puppy in Show' and a Gr. 2 at a large show in Red Deer Alberta on her first weekend out! Thank you to Judge James Reynolds and hander Raymond Yurick! She was bred only once to Orwell (Ch Epoch's Nineteen Eighty-four) and of the ten in the litter, Morgan and Sydney were shown to their championships, while Mickey completed his CDX with owner Carol Klucas. She is the foundation of all our current dogs and lived to be 14 years old.

Am Can Ch Fyrebrick's First Lady is an

American and Canadian Champion, shown in the US by Peter Atkinson. Morgan finished with three five point and one four point major over two specialty weekends. She typified beauty combined with movement. She was our first home bred show dog and the cornerstone of our breedline having produced two lovely litters and several successful show dogs. She lived to the ripe old age of 13. Morgan was always Cary's dog - I think she just liked men! She earned two legs of her CD with Cary, and was a natural hunter.  Fireworks on the forth of July meant birds falling out of the sky!

Ch Fyrebrick's Artists Proof. If there ever was a 'heart' dog, this was mine.  Sydney was everything I ever wanted in a bitch and then some!  She literally picked me from the whelping box and had the smarts to be a top obedience dog.  She finished her championship with Peter Atkinson, then spent the next several years training in obedience with me or hunting with Cary. My biggest regret is not competing with her due to other time commitments. She also never whelped a litter due to a uterine infection. She passed several years ago at 15 and I still miss her.

Ch Fyrebricks Hot Summer Breeze was shown to her championship by Doug and Mandy Carlson. Her best attributes were her temperament, excellent front and beautiful coat. Her great angles front and rear led to an easy ground covering stride.  She also loved to swim! Although motherhood wasn't her thing with just one small litter, she has been an outstanding family dog and companion, now going on 14 and still running our household!

Ch Fyrebrick's Celtic Lady was shown to her championship by Doug and Mandy Carlson.  She had one litter of 10 sired by Jay (Ch Oakrun's Blue Jay of Paradym) before going home to Carol Klucas in Portland OR. Her daughter Kenzie, owned by Deb Pearthree, is still going strong in performance events at nearly 10 years of age! Paddy, another littermate, earned his CD. Most of her remaining offspring are still on the go, so good genes from this mix!

Am Can Ch Fyrebrick's Riverdance is an American and Canadian Champion. Dani completed her Can. Championship over two specialty weekends at nine months of age! This was despite 'mom' handling!  She was then shown to her Am. Championship by Doug Belter.  Dani excelled at motherhood, producing two beautiful litters with several champions in the mix.  Her titled offspring include James, Cade, Penny and Tracy sired by Emerson (Ch. Timberwyck Maximum Overdrive).
